We are an innovative company focused on delivering high-quality software solutions. As we expand our team, we are looking for a highly skilled software developer with expertise in Rust and Java to help us tackle challenging projects.

Duration: 6 months contract

Rate: to be discussed

Your role

Design, develop, and maintain robust software applications using Rust and Java.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure code quality through best practices, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
Contribute to architecture decisions and performance optimization.
Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.

Required Experience

Hard skills:

Proven experience as a software developer with strong proficiency in Rust.
Solid experience with Java development and integrating Rust with Java applications.
Familiarity with software development methodologies, version control (Git), and agile workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Soft Skills

Experience in systems programming or performance-critical applications.
Knowledge of other programming languages and frameworks is a plus.
Open-source contributions in Rust or Java projects.

Other Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.
Willingness to work 2 days per week onsite in Brussels (hybrid model).
