Job Title – Guidewire Claims Tester

Location – Markham, ON, CA (Onsite Hybrid)

Duration – Long term

Working model – Hybrid 3 days Work From Office (2 days mandatory [Tue, Wed] + 1 day flexible [any day from Mon, Thu, Fri] )

Job Description:

Primary Skills:

Guidewire Expertise:

Utilize Guidewire software to perform testing on insurance applications, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.

Analysis and Reporting:

Analyse test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide detailed reports with recommendations for improvements.

Collaboration:

Work closely with development, operations, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive testing coverage.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, scripts, results, and recommendations, also JIRA QE boards.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Guidewire, Digital and Mainframe testing, with a focus on personal and commercial insurance applications

Mainframe testing.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Guidewire claims validations.
Proficiency in personal and commercial insurance applications
Experience in Guidewire PC, BC and CM application

Soft Skills:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud-based environments and testing.
Certification in Guidewire, Digital and Mainframe testing or related areas.
Knowledge of insurance industry standards and regulations.
