Job Title: ServiceNow Architect (or ServiceNow Developer)
Compensation: $80 - $110 / Hour
Job Location: 1-3 days / week on-site in Chandler, AZ
Requirements: 7+ years of experience with ServiceNow
This is a 1-year (or more) contract role with an AI-powered ServiceNow company. The company is established and quickly scaling. This person will be responsible for ServiceNow architecture and lead design / implementation of highly scalable applications for Enterprise clients .
Due to growth, they are currently hiring both ServiceNow Architects and Developers. They are ideally looking for someone who can commute to Chandler, AZ 1 - 3 times / week.

What You Will Be Doing
Architecting Solutions: Design and oversee the delivery of comprehensive ServiceNow implementations across ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, ITAM, HRSD, and other modules.
Strategic Road mapping: Partner with stakeholders to define the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for ServiceNow adoption.
Customization Oversight: Guide the configuration and customization of ServiceNow applications to ensure scalability, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
Integration Leadership: Engineer seamless integration between ServiceNow and enterprise systems (LDAP, Active Directory, SAP, cloud platforms, and APIs).
Team Leadership: Mentor developers and technical teams, instilling best practices and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery.
What You Need For This Position
5+ years of ServiceNow solution design and implementation.
At least 3 years in a lead or architect-level role.
Mastery of ServiceNow architecture, configuration, and modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CMDB).
Strong knowledge of the Common Services Data Model (CSDM) and scalable solution design.
Hands-on experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, OAuth2, JWT, MID Server) and external platforms (AWS, Azure, Salesforce).
Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules).
Familiarity with advanced features like Flow Designer, Virtual Agent, and Predictive Intelligence.
Platform Governance: Deep understanding of update sets, version control, deployment pipelines, and governance frameworks.
Certifications: ServiceNow CSA, CAD, or CTA preferred; ITIL Foundation or higher certifications are a plus.
Process Knowledge: Strong grounding in ITIL practices (Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration Management).
Preferred Skills
Experience with ITOM modules (Discovery, Orchestration, Event Management).
Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and their ServiceNow integrations.
Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow deployments.
Knowledge of automation frameworks to enhance operational efficiency.
