Our client is a leader in comprehensive resourcing solutions for the IT sector, and they are seeking a dynamic Senior Data Engineer. You'll be working with their prestigious partner, a global giant in consumer electronics, software, and digital services.

Contract Opportunity: Senior Data Analytics Engineer

Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite) in Paris, France

Duration: 12+ months

Rate: €375 – €440 per day (€90,000+ a year)

We’re seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer (Data Engineer with analytics expertise) to join our client on a long-term project in Paris. If you’re passionate about building robust data solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring data integrity at scale, this could be the perfect fit.

Core Competencies:

Strong communication skills – able to explain technical work clearly to diverse audiences.
A knack for documentation, reproducibility, and transparency.
Collaborative mindset with knowledge sharing at the core.
Proactive problem-solving and curiosity.
High attention to detail, delivering maintainable, trustworthy code.

Technical Experience:

Building & maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines.
Orchestration tools: Airflow, dbt, Prefect.
Cloud platforms (AWS) & tools like Snowflake.
Data lake/warehouse architecture: S3 + Athena, Delta Lake.
Strong Python (pandas, pyarrow, pyspark).
Data modelling (star/snowflake schemas, dimensional modelling).
Data quality, validation, anomaly detection.
Version control & CI/CD for data workflows (Git).

Must-Haves:

Snowflake: 3+ years of experience
Data Migration: At least 5 years of experience
Database Technologies: At least 5 years of experience
Advanced SQL: At least 5 years of experience
Data Engineering: At least 5 years of experience
Python: At least 5 years of experience
