My Client leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Release Management Lead to oversee planning, coordination, and governance of software and infrastructure releases across enterprise platforms.

Release Management Lead - Financial Services
Location: London | Contract: Inside IR35 | Rate: £739/day

Key Responsibilities:

Own and manage the enterprise release calendar.
Plan and execute major, minor, and emergency releases.
Coordinate with Product, Engineering, QA, and Infrastructure teams.
Ensure rollback plans and communication strategies for critical releases.
Lead release bridges and out-of-hours deployments.
Manage post-release issue tracking and remediation.

Required Skills:

Extensive release management experience in financial services.
Strong knowledge of ITIL, change governance, and regulatory standards (DORA, SOX, GDPR).
Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow), CI/CD pipelines, and scaled agile frameworks (SAFe).
Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
