What will your typical day look like?

As a Manager in our Cyber Incident Response practice, you will:

Lead and oversee complex, high-profile cyber incident response and investigation engagements, guiding clients through preparation, response, and recovery phases.
Act as a subject matter expert on ransomware investigations, and be prepared to personally lead or participate in hands-on investigative work as required, especially during critical or high-impact incidents.
Manage multiple concurrent projects across a diverse client base, spanning various industries, technologies, and geographies.
Supervise, mentor, and develop a national, collaborative, and performance-driven incident response team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during incident response engagements, building trusted advisor relationships and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Oversee and direct technical investigations, ensuring thorough analysis of large-scale cyber incidents and data breaches.
Design and facilitate technical and executive workshops on incident response, network security, vulnerability management, and related topics.
Provide strategic guidance to clients on incident containment, remediation, and recovery, leveraging industry best practices such as NIST and SANS frameworks.
Lead the development and review of incident response plans, policies, and playbooks, preparing organizations for evolving cyber threats.
Manage and support the execution of tabletop simulation exercises for technical and executive teams.
Conduct post-incident reviews with clients, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, capabilities, and resilience.
Drive innovation within the practice by evaluating emerging technologies, enhancing methodologies, and optimizing processes for incident response.
Oversee the preparation of high-quality deliverables, including incident investigation reports and executive briefings.
Actively contribute to business development activities, including proposal development, client presentations, and thought leadership.
Support ongoing professional development for yourself and your team, keeping abreast of the latest security threats, technologies, and industry trends.

Our diverse team collaborates across the full spectrum of cyber services, including security and compliance assessments, technical assessments, governance, control testing, incident response, awareness training, and threat and vulnerability management.

You are someone who has:

Leadership & Communication:

Proven experience leading and mentoring teams in high-pressure, dynamic environments.
Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership.
Demonstrated client management and relationship-building skills.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Ability to remain composed and provide direction during crises.

Experience:

At least 6 years of experience in digital forensics and incident response, or a closely related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Significant hands-on experience conducting ransomware investigations, including evidence collection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery. You are comfortable stepping in to lead or support technical investigations directly when the situation demands.
Previous consulting firm experience is a strong asset.
