Guest Experience Supervisor / Manager - £17 per hour

LaplandUK, the award-winning immersive Christmas experience, brings to life the original world of Father Christmas and his Elves. With stunning Hollywood-style sets, West End-quality performances, and exceptional storytelling, over 40,000 families each year are transported into a magical world like no other.
We’re looking for confident, guest-focused professionals to join our Guest Experience team as Guest Relations Supervisors for the 2025 season at our Ascot site.
The Role
As a Guest Relations Supervisor, you'll lead a team of Hosts and be responsible for delivering a seamless, warm and professional welcome to every family who enters the experience. You’ll be assigned to either our Check-In area or our main Guest Experience zones, depending on your strengths.
Whether you’re managing arrivals, queue flow, or guest requests, you’ll ensure operational smoothness while keeping the magic alive.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day running of either the guest check-in area or experience zones
Deliver team briefings and maintain clear communication across shifts
Manage queue flow, admissions, and live problem-solving
Handle VIPs, PR guests, and accessibility needs with confidence and warmth
Support staff scheduling, log incidents and updates, and escalate when needed
Champion safety procedures including lost child response and emergency actions
Create a positive working environment and lead with a team-first attitude
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re calm under pressure, passionate about people, and confident leading a team in a fast-paced guest-facing environment. Whether your background is in events, theatre, hospitality, or visitor attractions, what matters most is your ability to bring structure, care, and joy to the guest journey.
Experience
1+ year in a guest-facing supervisor or team lead role
Strong communication and operational awareness
A calm, confident approach to problem-solving and team support
Comfortable using digital tools (scheduling, check-in systems, etc.)
A warm, approachable manner and collaborative attitude
Availability from mid-October to 24 December
Nice to have:
Experience with guest admissions, or high-footfall guest environments
Familiarity with accessibility support or guest feedback systems
