We are currently seeking an experienced Security Architect to join our client’s team based in London, UK (Hybrid – 2-3 days per week onsite). You’ll collaborate with infrastructure architects, security engineers, IT operations, compliance teams, and enterprise architects to design and deliver secure, scalable, and compliant IT environments.
About the Role:
As a Security Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing secure solution architectures across cloud and on-prem environments. You will author High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Solution Design Documents (SDDs), ensuring they align with enterprise standards, compliance frameworks, and industry best practices. This is a permanent, hybrid position based in London, UK.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive Solution Design Documents (SDDs) for security and infrastructure solutions.
Design and architect solutions across multiple security domains, including:
Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
Identity and Access Management (IAM)
Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), MDM, and Endpoint Management
Cloud and On-Prem Security Solutions
Collaborate with IT operations, application, compliance, and risk teams to gather and translate requirements into secure technical designs.
Evaluate and recommend security tools, technologies, and frameworks.
Ensure all solutions adhere to GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, and organizational security policies.
Provide architectural guidance during implementation phases.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats, technologies, and best practices.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Proven experience designing end-to-end security solutions across multiple domains (DLP, SIEM, IAM, Endpoint).
Strong background in Infrastructure Security and Cloud Architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Demonstrated experience in authoring detailed HLDs and technical design documentation.
Familiarity with PAM (Privileged Access Management) and IAM tools.
Solid understanding of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, TOGAF).
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related discipline (Master’s preferred).
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF, CCSP, or AWS/Azure Security are advantageous.
