Job Description:

About the Role:

Looking for a Senior Backend SDET with strong experience in Java and API automation to build scalable test frameworks and support high-quality backend systems in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and maintain automated test frameworks for backend services and APIs
Write and execute API tests using Java, Karate, RestAssured, and Postman
Validate backend data using Cassandra or other NoSQL databases
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines with GitHub and GitHub Actions
Collaborate with developers and QA to improve coverage and reliability
Document test cases in Confluence, track work in Jira

Required Skills:

5+ years in backend test automation or SDET roles
Strong in Java and API testing tools
Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, and backend architecture
Familiar with Git, CI/CD, Jira, Confluence

Nice to Have:

Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms
