Job Summary

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for launching and establishing a new premium skincare brand in the Canadian market. Rooted in advanced bioscience and innovative skin research, this brand represents the next generation of high-performance skincare. This role will lead the development and execution of brand strategies, product launches, and go-to-market initiatives across both online and offline channels. A strong focus will be placed on education, scientific storytelling, and regulatory compliance within the cosmetics industry.

We are seeking a strategic, analytical, and creative marketing professional who can build brand equity and accelerate business growth in Canada. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with global stakeholders, retail partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless market entry and sustained brand presence. This position reports directly to the General Manager.

Principal Accountabilities – responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Strategic Planning

Develop annual and seasonal brand marketing plans that align with global brand strategy while addressing the unique needs and growth objectives of the Canadian market.
Lead go-to-market strategies for key product launches and hero franchises to drive brand awareness and category leadership in Canada.
Analyze market trends, competitive activities, and local consumer insights to identify opportunities for brand expansion and performance optimization.

Campaign Development & Execution

Oversee the 360° campaign development process for the Canadian market, including planning timelines, defining messaging, briefing creative teams, and ensuring cross-functional alignment.
Partner with Integrated Communications, E-Commerce, and Creative teams to deliver cohesive, high-impact campaigns across digital, retail, and PR channels.
Localize global marketing assets and collaborate closely with regional and global teams to ensure relevance and resonance with Canadian consumers.

Retail & Channel Marketing

Develop and execute marketing programs that strengthen brand presence across retail and online channels, including promotional campaigns, sampling strategies, and merchandising initiatives.
Collaborate with Sales and Retail partners to ensure consistent brand storytelling, premium execution, and alignment on trade marketing activities.
Support key retailers with customized programs and activations that enhance consumer engagement and conversion at point of sale.

Performance Analysis

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across brand campaigns, launches, and marketing initiatives to evaluate effectiveness and ROI.
Prepare regular performance reports and provide actionable recommendations to inform future planning and resource allocation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner effectively with Creative, Communications, Digital, Sales, and Global counterparts to ensure a unified brand vision and consistent market execution.
Represent the Canadian market perspective in global and regional meetings, advocating for local insights, challenges, and opportunities to drive brand success in Canada.

Key Experience and Skills

(Qualification level, experience, skill sets and personal attributes required for the job)

Minimum of 5 years of progressive marketing experience within the skincare or beauty industry, including at least 3 years in premium skincare brands.
Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field required; advanced education or certification in skincare science or marketing preferred.
Proven track record in brand building — launching new brands, developing and executing brand strategies, product launches, and 360° marketing campaigns tailored to the Canadian market.
Strong understanding of skincare formulations and sensitive skin treatments.
Deep familiarity with Canadian skincare regulations, including product claims, labeling, and health and safety compliance.
Demonstrated experience working with major Canadian retailers and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Sephora, Amazon, and key drugstores
