Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce Functional Consultant

Location: Remote (U.S.-based) with up to 30% travel to Greensboro, NC

Type: Contract – 8 months (potential for extension)

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce Functional Consultant to lead and deliver D365 Commerce module implementations within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has strong functional expertise across Supply Chain Management (SCM) and a proven history of completing multiple full-cycle D365 implementations in discrete manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce projects from design through deployment.
Map and analyze business processes, translating functional needs into system solutions.
Collaborate with technical teams on configuration, integrations, and data integrity.
Drive optimization and best-practice adoption across D365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
Partner with business stakeholders to identify improvements and ensure scalable implementations.
Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to project leadership.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience as a Functional Lead with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
4+ full lifecycle implementations in discrete manufacturing.
Deep understanding of SCM and Commerce processes, integrations, and ISV solutions.
Experience with LCS, VSTS, and Azure platform.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
Microsoft certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain one.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
