About the Role
A highly regarded, full-service commercial law firm based in Manchester City Centre is looking to appoint a Corporate Paralegal to join its dynamic and growing Corporate team.

The successful candidate will gain hands-on exposure to a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, shareholder agreements, company restructures, and general corporate governance matters.
As part of the firm’s commitment to professional growth, this position offers a guaranteed training contract within the first 6–12 months, as well as a salary review after six months, reflecting both performance and progression.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive paralegal support to solicitors and partners on a range of corporate and commercial matters, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Assist in the drafting, reviewing, and amending of legal documents such as NDAs, shareholder agreements, share purchase agreements, and corporate resolutions.
Support the team with due diligence processes, including reviewing company records, collating documentation, and preparing reports for clients and counsel.
Conduct legal research into company law, corporate structures, and regulatory compliance, presenting findings clearly to assist in transactional work and advisory matters.
Prepare and maintain company documentation and filings at Companies House, including incorporations, changes to directors, and share capital amendments.
Liaise directly with clients, counsel, accountants, and third-party advisers, ensuring communication is professional, timely, and aligned with client objectives.
Assist with transaction management, including coordinating document execution, managing completion checklists, and preparing post-completion bibles.
Maintain accurate and organised case and transaction files using the firm’s case management system, ensuring GDPR compliance and confidentiality at all times.
Support fee earners in the preparation of client engagement documents, billing, and file management, ensuring internal processes and compliance standards are met.
Contribute to business development activities, including drafting articles, assisting with pitches, and supporting the growth of client relationships.
About You:
Law degree (LPC, SQE, or equivalent qualification completed or in progress).
Previous experience within corporate or commercial law (either through a paralegal position, internship, or training placement) is highly advantageous.
Excellent attention to detail and strong drafting skills, with the ability to review documents critically.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence liaising directly with clients and colleagues.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
