This position is with one of our clients in The USA, who is actively hiring candidates to expand their teams.

Role: Solutions Engineer (Starburst)

Employment type: Contract

Technology: Starburst, troubleshooting, SQL

Location: Charlotte NC (Hybrid 3 days in office and 2 days remote)

Job Description-

Install and configure the Starburst
Coordinate/plan & execution activities related to platform maintenance, disaster recovery and software release management
L3+ escalation for platform Issue resolution, troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Configure and tune the production and lower-level environments
Perform capacity & stability monitoring
Assist with platform metrics collection and reporting
Contribute to definition, review, documentation & communication of standards and Best Practices
Maintain the platform and support of LOBs

Requirements:

Hands on Experience with Starburst Software Installation and Configuration
Working knowledge of OpenShift/ Kubernetes
Proven troubleshooting & issues resolution skills
Ability to analyze & communicate root cause and resolution steps
Familiarity with Starburst Software Best Practices
Working knowledge of the Starburst software security model and adaptability
Starburst Software Installation/Configuration & OpenShift containers
Strong verbal & written communication skills
Hands-on Installation & configuration experience with Starburst.
Experience with connectivity configuration for Starburst.
Federated queries
SQL query knowledge/skills

OpenShift/container knowledge
