Information Security Manager – GRC

United States | Remote

Supporting a fast-growing organisation that is strengthening governance, risk, and compliance capabilities across the enterprise. This role will play a key part in building frameworks, driving security maturity, and engaging senior leaders on risk-based decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the Information Security Management System and ensure alignment with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry best practices

• Lead security risk assessments, control testing, and policy governance across business units

• Manage third-party risk program including onboarding, due diligence, and remediation follow-ups

• Drive audit readiness for internal and external assessments (SOX, ITGC, SOC 2)

• Partner with Engineering and Operations teams to embed security controls in processes

• Track remediation and report on security metrics, KRIs, and compliance status to leadership

• Support incident response governance and continual improvement activities

• Own GRC tooling adoption and process automation opportunities

Required Experience

• Strong background in Information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance roles

• Hands-on experience with frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls

• Proven ability to run control assurance and manage regulatory/audit requirements

• Solid understanding of cloud security fundamentals (AWS/Azure) and modern enterprise environments

• Skilled communicator able to influence across technical and non-technical teams

• Certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CRISC, or similar preferred
