Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Systems Monitoring Engineer to lead the enterprise-wide implementation of SCOM 2025 (System Center Operations Manager) for monitoring network, server, and key infrastructure components. This role will also be responsible for integrating SCOM with ServiceNow to enable automated incident ticketing and support enterprise-level observability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

SCOM 2025 Implementation
Design and deploy SCOM 2025 architecture across enterprise environments.
Configure monitoring for Windows/Linux servers, network devices, applications, and cloud workloads.
Develop and customize management packs and alerting rules to meet operational needs.
ServiceNow Integration
Implement seamless integration between SCOM and ServiceNow for automated ticket creation, updates, and resolution workflows.
Ensure CMDB synchronization and alignment with ITIL processes.
Collaborate with ServiceNow developers and ITSM teams to optimize incident and change management.
Monitoring Strategy & Optimization
Define KPIs and SLAs for infrastructure monitoring and alerting.
Implement proactive alerting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of the monitoring platform.
Collaboration & Documentation
Work closely with infrastructure, network, application, and security teams to ensure comprehensive coverage.
Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, integrations, and operational procedures.
Provide training and support to Level 1/2 teams for SCOM usage and incident handling."

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure monitoring.
Hands-on expertise with SCOM (preferably 2022/2025) and ServiceNow integration.
Strong understanding of network protocols, server architecture, and cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
Proficiency in PowerShell, SQL, and automation scripting.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and CMDB management.

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or equivalent.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Integration Specialist.
Experience with hybrid cloud monitoring and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker)."
