Product Owner – Data Governance & Compliance | Global Investment Bank

We’re looking for a Product Owner to lead key initiatives across Data Governance, eDiscovery and Compliance within a top-tier global investment bank. This is a strategic role sitting at the crossroads of Legal, Compliance and Technology, driving how the organisation manages and protects information on a global scale.

You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders across Group Legal, Compliance and IT, shaping the roadmap and translating complex regulatory and operational needs into clear, actionable solutions. You’ll guide delivery teams, influence design decisions and partner with major vendors such as Microsoft and Arctera to bring best-in-class capabilities to life.

What you’ll do:

Own the product vision and roadmap across eDiscovery, Legal Hold, Data Retention and Deletion
Partner with Legal, Compliance and IT leaders to define and deliver business outcomes
Oversee product adoption, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement
Work closely with engineering and vendor teams to ensure solutions meet business and regulatory standards
Drive alignment with the firm’s data strategy and target operating model

What you’ll bring:

Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a complex, global environment
Deep understanding of eDiscovery and regulatory compliance
Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical detail into strategic insight
Experience engaging senior stakeholders across Legal, Compliance and IT Security
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Purview, Veritas Enterprise Vault or similar solutions
