Senior Full Stack Developer: Frontend-Focused (React/C#)Location: Madison, WI (Hybrid: 2 Days Onsite)Contract: 12 Months+ | Rate: $75/hour W2

We are seeking a highly experienced and Senior Full Stack Developer with a profound specialization in React.js to join our dynamic team. This role is approximately 60% React Frontend development and 40% C#/.NET Backend collaboration/integration. The ideal candidate will be an expert contributor ready to lead on complex frontend architecture and state management, leveraging 7+ years of professional development experience.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

We require a Senior-level expert who can drive complex projects with minimal oversight.

7+ years of progressive professional experience in software or web application development.

Expert-level proficiency (4+ years dedicated) in React.js (Hooks, Context/Redux, Routing) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

Deep expertise in UI architecture, optimization, and integration of RESTful APIs.

Strong foundational understanding of C#/.NET backend systems, particularly for API integration and data flow collaboration.

Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and component-driven frameworks (e.g., Material UI, Tailwind).

Demonstrated experience in debugging, performance tuning, and leading code reviews.

Excellent technical communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills & Differentiators

These skills will significantly increase candidate ranking:

Extensive hands-on experience with C#/.NET Core and ASP.NET Web API.

Experience with advanced state management solutions.

Familiarity with secure API design, OAuth 2.0, and JWT.

Exposure to Azure Cloud Services, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

Background working in microservices architecture or large-scale enterprise environments.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and enhance complex, high-visibility React components and features (60% focus).

Collaborate closely with backend engineers to define and integrate robust C#/.NET APIs (40% focus).

Lead efforts in optimizing application performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.

Mentor junior team members, participate in high-level design, and enforce frontend best practices and testing strategies.

Actively participate in sprint planning, UI/UX refinement, and extensive code review processes.
