Solution Lead for Oracle ERP EBS Order Management track
Job Responsibilities
Project is to migrate business in France on to an existing R12 platform that is already being used by businesses in several other European countries.
1. Functional Leadership
Understand the current R12 solution and template
Lead the solution for the OM track
Ensure alignment of solution design with business requirements and ERP capabilities.
Validate functional specifications and oversee configuration activities.
2. Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders onsite.
Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution walkthroughs.
Manage expectations and ensure business buy-in for proposed solutions.
3. Coordination with Offshore Team
Translate business needs into clear, actionable tasks for the offshore team.
Review deliverables from offshore (eg, functional specs, test scripts) for completeness and accuracy.
Ensure timely communication and resolution of issues between onsite and offshore teams.
4. Project Execution Support
Support key project phases: Fit-Gap analysis, Design, Build, Testing, Cutover, and Go-Live.
Lead onsite testing efforts (UAT, SIT) and coordinate defect triage.
Support data migration and validation activities.
5. Risk & Issue Management
Identify functional risks early and propose mitigation strategies.
Escalate critical issues appropriately and ensure timely resolution.
6. Documentation & Compliance
Ensure all functional documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
Adhere to project governance, change control, and quality assurance processes.
7. Training & Change Management
Support end-user training and change management activities.
Technical skills required
ü At least 8-10 years of experience in Functional consulting, and solutions architecture
ü Strong knowledge in Order management and fulfillment processes of manufacturing companies.
ü Deep knowledge of Oracle ERP R12 EBS Order Management, Inventory, Procurement (Drop Ship) and Shipping.
ü Strong experience in multiple Oracle R12 implementation programs
ü Hands-on experience in solution development/configurations for Oracle OM and related modules
ü Strong conceptual knowledge and experience in O2C and A2R cycle
ü Experience in RICEW solution and design
ü Experience working with an offshore based delivery model
Other skills required
Ability to communicate in French and English fluently, both orally and in writing
Good communication skills
Good presentation skills
