Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership

Act as a trusted advisor to the General Manager and leadership team on all people-related matters.
Translate business needs into HR initiatives and ensure alignment with Group and Africa HR strategy.
Partner with Africa HR to roll out policies & programs locally.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

Lead recruitment efforts across all levels, ensuring a high-quality and diverse talent pipeline.
Support managers in workforce planning and role definition to meet business growth and efficiency needs.
Oversee onboarding and integration processes to ensure a seamless employee experience.

Performance Management & Development

Drive the performance management cycle in line with Africa policies.
Support succession planning, talent reviews, and career development initiatives.
Identify training needs and coordinate learning & development activities in collaboration with Group/Africa L&D.

Compensation & Benefits

Ensure compensation structures are competitive, fair, and aligned with Group guidelines.
Manage salary reviews, promotions, and incentive processes in coordination with Africa HR and local Finance.
Monitor and manage local benefit schemes and employee welfare programs.

Employee Relations & Engagement

Promote a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns with company values.
Handle employee relations matters professionally and in compliance with local labour laws.
Design and execute employee engagement initiatives and internal communications strategies.

Compliance & HR Operations

Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local labor laws and global standards.
Maintain accurate HR data, records, and reporting (e.g., headcount, turnover, absenteeism).
Oversee payroll coordination with Finance and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.

Organizational Development & Change Management

Support organizational change efforts, including restructures, new ways of working, or cultural transformation.
Foster continuous improvement in HR processes and systems.

Profile & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources
Minimum of 2–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a multinational and in industrial environment
Solid knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices.
Proven experience in both strategic HR leadership and operational execution.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence at all levels.
Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and cultural awareness.
