Overview

The YouTube Channel and Thomas Botea Podcast shares Christian values and features conversations similar in depth and spirit to The Diary of a CEO, The Joe Rogan Experience, The Huberman Lab Podcast, and the School of Hard Knocks.
As an Ambassador, you promote this YouTube Channel and Organization directly on campus while managing an growing an email list. This role focuses on growing the subscriber base through in-person outreach, student club partnerships, and opt-in list building.
Ambassadors act as the face of TB in the university community, connecting with students in an authentic, conversational ways.
Expect to work around 10 hrs/week

Responsibilities

On-Campus Outreach

Make a set number of in-person pitches to students each week (e.g., 5+).
Encourage interested students to subscribe to the YouTube channel.
Share a QR code or sign-up form for students to voluntarily join the TB email list.

Club & Community Engagement

Reach out to student clubs at Huron and Western for collaborations.
Pitch opportunities for podcast mentions, email features, or event tie-ins.
Represent TB at student events and promote its mission.

Email List Management

Maintain and update the official TB email list.
Ensure only students who opt in are added (CASL compliance).
Encourage students to provide personal emails (preferred) for better deliverability, but accept school emails if that’s what they choose.
Track growth metrics and list engagement.

Growth & Reporting

Track weekly outreach activity (subs gained, emails collected, club contacts made).
Provide updates and report to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Podcast Officer.

Skills Needed

Strong interpersonal communication and enthusiasm.
Confidence in approaching and engaging students.
Organized and reliable with weekly activity tracking.
Comfortable with outreach via in-person conversations.
Detail-oriented with list management and record-keeping.
Sales experience (recommended, not required).
Passionate about TB's mission of promoting truth, love, and action.

All email collection and list use must comply with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Only students who voluntarily opt in may be added. Using existing lists or adding emails without explicit consent is prohibited.
