It automates the low-level cognitive workflows that slow down clinicians, researchers, data abstractors, and care teams — helping healthcare systems operate faster, more accurately, and more efficiently.
Role: Senior Data/AI/ML Software Engineer
Location: Remote US
Compensation: $150K–$300K (level & location based) + 0.1%–0.5% equity
YOE: 7+ years in AI/ML or full-stack SWE
Visa: H1B transfers + possible new H1B sponsorship

About the role
Build and enhance clinical information extractors, summarizers, and automation systems.
Scrape, process, transform, query, and analyze structured/unstructured clinical data.
Evaluate system performance and refine the clinical knowledge graph.
Develop secure, compliant code aligned with HIPAA & SOC 2.
Contribute to core data/AI/ML pipelines and infrastructure.
Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system uptime.
Requirements / Who is the ideal fit
7+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or full-stack SWE.
Deep hands-on experience with NLP/LLMs, data-intensive systems, and ML pipelines.
Strong expertise in Python, SQL, PyTorch, GCP, FastAPI, Django, BigQuery, dbt, Pandas.
Experience working with large, messy, clinical/healthcare datasets (nice-to-have).
Familiarity with secure coding, privacy, and compliance standards.
Must be able to work Pacific Time core hours; US-based only
