What will your day look like? As a Senior Data Engineer, you will:

Implement and design scalable serverless data solutions using AWS services such as Lambda and Glue.
Maintain and develop reliable and scalable data solutions that support business and operational requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet and understand data needs for near real-time processing.
Document architecture decisions, data flows, and metadata to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.
Implement and design fault-tolerant systems, ensuring resilience and high availability in data processing pipelines.

You will be a good fit for the Senior Data Engineer role if you have:

5 plus years of related hands-on experience within a technology-driven environment
Proven experience maintaining and building operational data pipelines, particularly with streaming technologies like AWS Kinesis
Strong proficiency in Apache Spark and Scala
Experience in AWS cloud services with a focus on serverless architectures for data processing (Glue, Lambda, etc.)
SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
Experience building ETL pipelines and data services in the cloud using infrastructure as code and large-scale data processing engines, like Spark
Strong experience with SQL and one or more programming languages, with Python preferred
Strong communication and problem—solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing business needs
