Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our team in building and maintaining compliance tools leveraging services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-native development and experience with services.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain compliance tools and solutions using services
Integrate various services including Connect, Q Business, S3, DynamoDB.
Implement secure data handling practices using security services
Work with natural language processing solutions using Translate and Comprehend
Collaborate with compliance teams to understand requirements and implement solutions
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards
Top 3 Skills:
Strong experience with services
Programming language (Python, Java, Javascript/HTML/CSS/preferred)
Communication skills
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of software development experience
Strong experience with services, particularly:
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, Javascript/HTML/CSS/preferred)
Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer)
Experience with compliance frameworks (SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.)
Experience of working with production code and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with serverless architecture
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $56.00 - $61.00/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
