Position Overview

FortisOne is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Director to lead market entry and establish FortisOne as the platform of choice for Governance, Risk, and Compliance across the United Kingdom, Ireland, and European Union. This role offers the unique opportunity to build a regional sales organization from inception, driving enterprise adoption across strategic verticals while directly influencing global go-to-market strategy. Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, this position carries significant autonomy, board-level visibility, and the potential to establish meaningful long-term value through regional expansion.

Primary Responsibilities

Market Strategy & Revenue Growth

Develop and execute comprehensive market entry and revenue growth strategy for UK, Ireland, and EU markets
Identify high-potential market segments and verticals, with particular focus on BFSI, government, telecommunications, technology, and energy sectors
Build and manage a high-performing regional sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and disciplined execution

Enterprise Sales & Customer Acquisition

Lead direct enterprise sales engagement with C-Suite and board-level decision makers
Close complex, high-value B2B transactions with enterprise organizations
Manage complex sales cycles, proposal development, and contract negotiations

Channel & Partnership Development

Establish and onboard strategic partnerships with major distributors and systems integrators
Develop regional channel strategy to accelerate market penetration and revenue scaling
Cultivate and leverage existing network of key decision-makers, value-added resellers (VARs), and systems integrators (SIs)

Brand & Strategic Representation

Represent FortisOne at regional industry events, conferences, and thought leadership forums
Participate in investor discussions and strategic partner meetings
Build and strengthen the company's market presence and competitive positioning across UK, Ireland, and EU

Core Requirements

Professional Experience

Minimum 7 years of enterprise software sales experience in UK, Ireland, or EU markets, with demonstrated focus on high-value cybersecurity, compliance, or enterprise technology solutions
Proven track record of closing enterprise deals exceeding $100K+ contract values
Documented success establishing and scaling distributor and systems integrator partnerships

Market & Domain Expertise

Deep understanding of UK, Ireland, and EU regulatory environments, customer procurement processes, and enterprise buying cycles
Working knowledge of cybersecurity, compliance frameworks, or GRC solution landscapes
Familiarity with target verticals' specific regulatory and operational requirements (BFSI, government, telecom, energy)
Understanding of EU compliance landscape including GDPR, NIS2, sectoral regulations

Strategic Capabilities

Ability to operate effectively and independently within a fast-scaling, founder-led environment
Demonstrated ability to influence organizational strategy and contribute to executive decision-making
Strong business acumen with capacity to develop and manage regional P&L metrics

Professional Network

Established relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers across target verticals in UK, Ireland, and EU
Existing connections within regional VAR, reseller, and systems integrator ecosystems
Ability to leverage networks to accelerate market penetration and partnership development
