Mission and key tasks

Reporting to our Cellular Fermentation R&D manager you will be responsible for a project focused on evaluating analytical software for GC-MS data. The goal is to test multiple tools, assess their accuracy and automation potential, and integrate them into an existing analysis pipeline. You’ll work with real-world data from chocolate aroma analysis—a unique opportunity to combine data science with food science.

What you will do :

Test and compare analytical tools for GC-MS data processing.
Evaluate accuracy, robustness, and automation capabilities.
Integrate selected tools into an existing analysis pipeline.
Work with large datasets and develop efficient workflows.

Who are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree in statistics, math, computer science, information technology, chemical sciences or engineering
Strong background in statistics and data science.
Proficiency in R, Python, or similar programming languages.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Experience in developing analysis pipelines and handling large datasets.
Plus, but not mandatory: familiarity with GC-MS data formats and processing; Interest in food science and sensory analysis; basic understanding of analytical chemistry and food aroma concepts.
No prior lab experience required.
