Role: IC Engineer (Instrumentation & Control)

Location: Paris, France

About the Role

We are looking for an Instrumentation & Control (IC) Engineer to support the design, development, verification, and integration of complex IC systems. You will work closely with senior IC engineers, contribute to documentation, testing, and system validation, and participate in risk assessments and engineering reviews.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong IC development experience and exposure to LabVIEW, PLCs, and system engineering tools.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop Instrumentation & Control systems.
Review IC documentation, manufacturing specifications, and technical notes.
Contribute to the development of IC engineering methods and guidelines.
Use system engineering tools such as Enterprise Architect.
Provide technical support across IC activities.
Participate in Verification & Validation (V&V) processes.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with system safety requirements.
Support IC system integration and testing processes.

Essential Skills & Experience

Experience with NI PXIe, CompactRIO (cRIO), Siemens PLC, ATCA/MTCA (preferred but not mandatory).
Strong hands-on experience with LabVIEW, LabVIEW Real-Time, and LabVIEW FPGA.
Programming experience in C and Python.
Familiarity with system engineering methodologies and tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
