About The Role

Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.

The Renewals Manager (RM) plays a critical role in driving Fivetran's growth by managing customer contracts from planning through negotiation to execution. RMs are responsible for overseeing the entire renewal process and ensuring a smooth contract experience, while Account Executives (AEs) and Customer Success Managers (CSMs) retain overall account ownership.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Denver, CO office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.

What You’ll Do

Contract Planning: Develop and implement strategic renewal plans, initiate processes 90 days before contract end, conduct account research, and ensure timely renewals.
Negotiation & Collaboration: Negotiate terms and pricing, identify upselling opportunities, and collaborate with internal stakeholders (legal, finance, security, deal desk) for compliance and smooth renewals.
Contract Execution: Manage coordination and execution of amendments, renewals, and re-contracts. Handle secondary documentation, such as DPAs, MSAs, and BAAs.
Forecasting & Communication: Provide accurate forecasts, update SFDC and forecasting tools, and ensure clear, professional communication with customers.
Feedback & Improvement: Gather customer insights, share feedback with relevant teams, and refine strategies for future renewals.

Skills We’re Looking For

Experience: Proven track record in SaaS sales, customer success, or account management, with experience in managing contract renewals and negotiations.
CRM & Project Management: Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), exceptional organizational skills for managing multiple renewals, and strong attention to detail.
Analytical Skills: Ability to assess contract terms, identify upselling opportunities, and resolve issues proactively.
Collaboration: Effective interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams, and clear, concise communication.
Time Management: Skill in prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Financial Acumen: Understanding of key SaaS metrics and experience in forecasting revenue impacts, optimizing renewals, and managing bookings.
Customer-Centric Mindset: Commitment to a seamless customer experience, anticipating needs, and aligning solutions with customer and company objectives.

This position qualifies for Fivetran’s incentive plan, and it’s common for employees in this role to achieve the total on-target earnings.

$91,101—$109,326 USD

OTE (On Target Earning)

$113,876.25—$136,657.50 USD
