Graduate Management Trainee – Leadership Development Programme

Following our recent expansion, and with plans to expand part of our leadership team to the USA in summer 2026, Sage Partners is recruiting ambitious graduates for our Management Trainee programme to rebuild and strengthen our Birmingham leadership division.
This is NOT a typical 9–5 job.
This is a leadership development opportunity, built for individuals with drive, grit, ambition, and a strong student mentality.

What You Will Learn: Structured Training & Real Leadership Experience
Our management programme is hands-on from day one. Unlike traditional graduate schemes, your progression is based on criteria, performance, and mastery — not time served.
Trainee Phase (Months 0-6)
Learn the foundations of leadership and business management
You will gain practical, real-world experience in:
Leading and managing a team of 5–7 people
Developing mastery of 10 core leadership competencies
Running and executing face-to-face campaigns
Coaching team members and influencing performance
Learning operational standards, client expectations, and campaign KPIs
Managing daily metrics, performance tracking, and reporting
Junior Manager Phase (Months 4–8)
Step into operational and commercial development
Working closely with senior managers, you will learn:
Back-end operations and performance forecasting
Budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation
Business development and territory planning
Client liaison and account management
Leading and developing a team of 10–15 people
Running large-scale daily operations and campaign performance
Senior Manager Phase (8–12+ Months)
Lead teams, clients, and business performance
This stage involves:
Managing entire client contracts and deliverables
Leading a division of 20+ team members
Overseeing operational performance and execution
Driving commercial decisions and strategic improvements
Supporting expansion into new territories, including future USA projects
At this level, you’re not just managing — you’re running part of the company.
