Organization: Mercor

Position: Generalist Data Annotation Expert

Referral Partner: Crossing Hurdles

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $40/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: Through December, with potential extension

Commitment: 10-40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided):

Synthesize and interpret large volumes of diverse data.
Annotate and categorize text, images, and other data types according to predefined detailed guidelines and taxonomies.
Apply rubrics and standardization protocols to ensure consistent and high-quality output.
Identify and flag inconsistencies, ambiguities, or errors within datasets.
Contribute directly to the enhancement and refinement of AI systems.

Requirements:

Strong ability to organize and structure complex or large datasets.
Excellent written communication skills.
Experience with rubrics, taxonomies, or standardized annotation guidelines is preferred but not mandatory.
Detail-oriented and able to work independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.
