My client, a forward thinking organization at the intersection of technology, data, and professional services is seeking a Chief Data Officer to lead their Data, AI, and Business Intelligence teams.

This is a strategic role, crucial in driving data driven decision and shaping a culture of innovation across the organization and its network.

Key responsabilities

Leading, inspiring, and coaching multidisciplinary teams across Data, AI, and BI.
Defining and executing a long term Data, AI & BI strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals.
Driving initiatives that deliver measurable business impact and support digital transformation.
Influencing technology and supplier choices to ensure efficiency, scalability, and innovation.
Managing budgets, resources, and priorities within the Data & AI domain.
Acting as the strategic liaison between internal leadership and external partners.

The ideal candidate has:

Exceptional communication skills and public speaking abilities.
Proven people management experience (15+ team members).
At least 10 years of experience in data governance & quality, AI, BI, or a related field.
Strong experience in agile environments and managing complex projects.
Excellent leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
Fluency in French, Dutch, and English.

Contract & Location:

Freelance contract of 6 months with potential extension.
Hybrid working arrangements, to be discussed.
