Dedicated to delivering exceptional user experiences, the Platform team (comprised of User Experience Specialists and Platform Analysts) leads the strategic development of CNA—our industry-leading ecommerce platform. From partner site onboarding to ongoing enhancements, we ensure a seamless, intuitive, and innovative shopping journey for our brand partners.

As a Platform Intern, you’ll play an active role in shaping what’s next—brainstorming, building, and testing new initiatives, refining existing functionality, and helping bring forward-thinking innovations to life. You’ll also contribute to creating resources that support platform education and alignment across the organization.

Job Description

Your focused internship will allow you to work closely with the Clark National Accounts Platform department where you will directly observe and take part in understanding how our platform, CNA, functions today, gaining further knowledge into how and where we could implement improvements to better serve our customers while further familiarizing yourself with elements that might closely align with your own professional goals.

During this internship, you will learn the ins and outs of CNA to further understand how our customers are utilizing it to run their day-to-day operations at their restaurants.

Responsibilities

A Platform Intern is responsible for the customization, maintenance, and innovation of our e-commerce platform, CNA, to enhance the user experience for our modern, multi-unit foodservice customers.

What you’ll have an opportunity to do:

Support the team in analyzing platform performance and identifying areas for improvement
Assist in developing solutions to optimize platform efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes
Provide support in configuring and maintaining the platform
Participate in troubleshooting platform-related issues and propose solutions

Physical Requirements

Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Remote Work Qualifications

Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.
Access to a home router and modem.
A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).
A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment.
The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.
