Lead Technical Business Analyst
My client in the Insurance industry are looking for a Lead Technical Business Analyst to work on a 6 month initial contract outside IR35. They are looking for a candidate with experience of working within the London Markets and has extensive data modelling experience.
Objective:
Drive and deliver comprehensive analysis to enable complex data migrations, ensuring seamless transition from a Legacy system to a modern target platform with minimal business disruption.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead technical analysis for large-scale data migration initiatives.
Experience working for London Market Insurers
Advise stakeholders on best practices for system decommissioning and data transition strategies.
Define and manage requirements for APIs, data models, and integration points.
Collaborate with engineering teams to validate technical feasibility and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Develop and maintain detailed documentation for data mapping, transformation, and validation processes.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with migration and system cutover.
Core Skills & Experience:
Proven expertise in PAS systems and complex data migration projects.
Strong knowledge of API design and integration.
Advanced data modelling skills for structured and semi-structured data.
Proficiency in XML, JSON, and Excel for data handling and transformation.
Ability to work across technical and business teams to ensure smooth delivery.
