Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Modeler with strong expertise in ETL, data warehousing, and enterprise data modeling to design and optimize scalable analytical data solutions.

This role requires hands-on experience with Snowflake, solid fundamentals in dimensional and relational modeling, semantic layer design and the ability to design connected, cross-domain data models that support enterprise analytics and BI.

Mandatory Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (or other cloud data warehouse platforms) with a solid understanding of data warehouse architecture, performance considerations, and best practices.

Strong hands-on experience in ETL, dimensional and relational data modeling, proficient in semantic layer design and KPIs via analytic SQL functions.

Expertise in writing efficient SQL with strong skills in query optimization, performance tuning, and troubleshooting complex data flows.

Design and implement data marts from scratch, establishing KPI data reconciliation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency across source and target systems.

Ability to design cross-domain data models that integrate data from multiple business areas while maintaining consistency, reusability, and a unified analytical view.

Ensure data quality, auditability, reconciliation, lineage, governance, and security best practices across datasets and platforms.

Nice to have:

Retail domain knowledge is a plus.

Familiar with data modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or equivalent.

Experience designing OLAP cubes for BI tools, especially Power BI.

Experience with Python scripting for data automation and workflow orchestration.
