Fenton Precision Engineering is a UK market leader in design, precision tool-making, and injection moulding services. With over 45 years of experience, our headquarters are located in Northamptonshire complemented by a second site in Market Harborough. We provide a comprehensive “one-stop shop” service, including in-house concept design, CAD modelling, prototyping, tool-making, manufacturing, and post-moulding operations. Our fully equipped tool-making facility produces high-quality moulds of up to 5 tonnes and supports refurbishments, repairs, and design changes. As an ISO 9001 accredited company, we serve a diverse range of customers in the UK, Europe, and globally.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role, located in Finedon, requiring work 1-2 days per week. The HR Consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies, overseeing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with relevant labor and employment laws. The role also involves providing guidance on HR management practices, managing employee records, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires a proactive approach to addressing workforce needs and supporting organizational goals. This is a contract position.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge and experience in Human Resources and HR Management
Expertise in HR Policies development and implementation
Proficiency in managing Employee Relations and fostering a positive workplace environment
In-depth understanding of Labor and Employment Laws
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively part-time on-site in a consulting or managerial capacity
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within manufacturing or engineering, is a plus
