Remote / Flexible (periodic travel for senior leadership engagements)

Reports to: Director, Leadership Services

This is a remote, work-from-home position with travel, domestic and international. Candidates must be flexible to accommodate time zones of international stakeholders on a regular basis. This is an international consultant contract as we are not an employer in the United Kingdom. The initial contract is through Sept 2026 with the possibility of repeated renewal.

The Digital Experience (DEx) Committee is leading a multi-year transformation to reimagine how members learn, connect, and lead through world-class digital experiences. This role is central to bringing that vision to life.

Role Summary

We are seeking a Program Manager who can operate at the intersection of digital transformation, AI-integrated delivery, experience design, and technical program management. This person will translate the DEx Committee’s vision into the structured execution required to bring it to life.

This role requires someone who can:

Operate confidently across business, technology, and governance.
Understand digital platform architecture and modern AI capabilities.
Manage multi-workstream delivery in complex digital ecosystems end-to-end.
Translate executive intent into actionable, technically grounded plans.
Bring clarity, structure, and decision-enablement amid ambiguity.
Communicate with precision and polish to senior leadership, including the Board.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Program Strategy & Delivery

Partner with the DEx Committee and CPTO to support program scope, success metrics, and program strategy.
Oversee multi-workstream digital and technical program execution—ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
Create structured visibility through roadmaps, dashboards, OKRs, and risk management frameworks.
Anticipate cross-team dependencies and proactively escalate technical risks or integration challenges.
Apply Agile, Lean, and digital program methodologies that support speed, transparency, and predictability.
Serve as the central coordination point across stakeholder groups, design firms, and vendors to ensure alignment.

2. Committee Management & Executive Governance

Support seamless DEx Committee operations, including scheduling, agendas, pre-read materials, synthesis, and facilitation.
Capture the strategic intent behind discussions and translate it into structured action plans and workstreams.
Serve as liaison between DEx and governance bodies (Events, Learning, Membership, Finance).
Prepare board-level progress updates in partnership with the DEx Chair.

3. Technology, AI & Experience Leadership

Bridge business and technology by translating member needs and Committee strategy into clear requirements and executable technical plans.
Maintain fluency in emerging technology, generative AI, automation, and platform architecture.
Embed Agile, Lean, and Design Thinking for speed, transparency, and impact.
Champion the DEx strategy, ensuring all initiatives align to core member experience pillars: Search, Events, Content, and Culture Tools.

Qualifications & Experience

7–10 years in program management, strategic consulting, digital transformation, or technical program leadership.
Experience working closely with engineering, product, or data teams on digital platform development, integrations, or AI-enabled solutions.
Strong technical literacy—able to understand APIs, integrations, data flows, and system constraints.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder environments with competing priorities.
Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Notion, Miro, Asana, Smartsheet, etc.
Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills with experience supporting C-suite or board-level audiences.
Familiarity with Agile, iterative development, and modern delivery frameworks.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
