About the Gold & Silver Contract Management Function

The Gold & Silver Contract Management Function is a strategic capability within the organisation, providing governance and oversight of our most complex, high-risk, and high-value contracts. The Function ensures contract performance, compliance, and effective supplier engagement, supporting the organisation’s long-term strategic objectives and the delivery of high-quality services.

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Commercial Contract Manager to support the management of a portfolio of four Gold and one Silver high-profile contracts. Working closely with senior commercial colleagues, you will help ensure that suppliers meet contractual obligations, risks are effectively managed, and value for money is achieved.

This role is well-suited to individuals with experience in contract management or procurement who are ready to progress into a more senior, strategic environment. You will contribute to commercial governance, lead routine supplier interactions, and support contract improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Support the oversight and management of 4 Gold and 1 Silver strategic contracts, ensuring compliance, performance tracking, and accurate reporting.
Lead routine supplier engagement, preparing agendas, tracking actions, and escalating risks or issues where needed.
Maintain robust contract documentation, including registers, dashboards, KPIs, SLAs, and change control logs.
Assist with commercial negotiations, variations, and contract changes in line with organisational policy and governance.
Monitor supplier performance data, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Support the development and implementation of contract management strategies and service improvement plans.
Ensure all commercial activities adhere to procurement regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements.
Work collaboratively with commercial, finance, operational, legal, and project teams to ensure cohesive contract delivery.

About You

You will be an organised, proactive commercial professional with a strong eye for detail and the ability to work confidently with suppliers and internal stakeholders. You will be able to demonstrate:

Experience supporting the management of complex or high-value contracts in the public or regulated sector.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate reporting.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
A good understanding of commercial governance, contract structures, and risk management.
An interest in developing your commercial skills; professional qualifications (e.g. CIPS or WorldCC) are desirable but not essential.
