Hiring: Senior Full Stack Software Developer (Contract) – .NET / React / Azure-Public Sector Digital Health Project
Location: Toronto, ON – 5 days onsite
Start Date: January 1st, 2026

We are supporting one of our dedicated public sector health care clients in the GTA to hire an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Developer to lead the development of a new enterprise-grade patient correspondence platform. This role contributes to a major provincial digital modernization effort and offers the opportunity to work with highly modern technologies: .NET 8, React 18, Azure Cloud, Microservices, and Distributed Systems.

Role Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
Develop full-stack cloud-native applications using .NET 8, React 18, and Azure services
Contribute to architecture, system design, and API modelling
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews
Lead best practices in engineering, DevOps, automation, and microservices
Support QA teams with test planning and strategy
Build technical documentation (APIs, workflows, architecture, deployment guides)
Ensure high performance, maintainability, and security across the platform
Participate in requirement workshops and solution design sessions
Support production, monitoring, troubleshooting, and system reliability
Proactively identify risks, recommend solutions, and drive continuous improvement
Ideal Candidate Profile:
8–10+ years full-stack development experience
8+ years .NET development (preferably in healthcare, financial, or regulated environments)
Strong Azure cloud experience (APIM, Service Bus, App/Container Services, Key Vault, Log Analytics, App Insights)
Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, DevOps, CI/CD
Strong knowledge of software security, privacy, and compliance
Experience with digital communications platforms (email, SMS, notifications) – nice to have
Experience with FHIR/HL7 or healthcare data privacy (PHIPA) – nice to have
Excellent communicator and collaborator, comfortable in multi-disciplinary teams
