Job Description
We are looking for a freelance JDE Project Director to lead a global ERP upgrade project, focusing on JD Edwards system enhancements, at one of our clients based in Paris. The role demands extensive experience in large-scale ERP projects, governance, and coordination across international teams within a complex matrix organization.
Location: Paris
Duration: 12 months+, starting asap
Work mode: Hybrid - 3 days a week onsite/2 remotely

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
Global ERP Upgrade Leadership: The Project Director will oversee the end-to-end upgrade of JD Edwards applications and tools, impacting nearly 35,000 users across 120 countries, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery aligned with corporate goals.
Responsibilities and Governance: Key duties include defining and executing the upgrade program, managing multiple streams, establishing governance frameworks, leading diverse teams and vendors, mitigating risks, and maintaining operational continuity during transitions.
Required Expertise and Qualifications: Candidates must have over 15 years+ of experience in large-scale JD Edwards ERP transformations. They should be experienced in end-to-end upgrade of JD Edwards applications from version 9.2.2 to Update 26, and tools from 9.2.5 to release 9.2.26.x, across multiple business units and geographies, senior leadership, strong project governance and vendor management skills, and excellent communication abilities, with fluency in English.
