Data Center & Security Engineer (Freelance) – Hybrid

A major enterprise group is looking for a Senior Data Center & Security Engineer to strengthen its core infrastructure team and support several ongoing transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, evolution and optimisation of Data Center architectures.

• Lead and support migration, consolidation and upgrade activities across critical environments.

• Produce HLD/LLD documentation and operational procedures.

• Manage changes, plan deployment phases and ensure smooth go-lives.

• Participate in automation initiatives (Terraform / Ansible) and share best practices with internal teams.

Key Technologies

• Cisco ACI (Spine–Leaf, policies, tenant models)

• Cisco Nexus / Catalyst

• Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, SD-WAN)

• Palo Alto / Check Point (advantageous)

• Terraform, Ansible, Git, Python
