We are currently working on an exciting opportunity in Richmond, VA for one of our clients seeking a Business Analyst with a strong focus on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities:

Lead UAT and regression testing for new features and releases.
Build and maintain test plans, cases, and acceptance criteria.
Execute tests across web, app, and API; document results and defects.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to resolve issues and confirm readiness.
Continuously improve testing processes for coverage and efficiency.

Qualifications:

2–4 years in BA, QA, or related roles within a tech environment.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Jira (tickets, stories, defects)
Confluence (process + test documentation)
Postman / Swagger (API testing)
Excel / MSFT Products (test tracking, analysis)
Basic SQL or BI tools a plus for impact analysis

Desired Qualifications:

Comfort mapping workflows and thinking in edge cases.
Practical experience working directly with PMs and engineers.
Strong written communication — you make messy things clear.
A habit of using data to validate outcomes, not just opinions.
Bonus: experience in fintech/wealthtech or regulated workflows.
