Location: Anywhere in the UK (Remote)

Type: Contract

Note: Candidates must be located in the UK.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Main tasks:

• Be accountable for the complete lifecycle of the Products in-scope.

• Establish and maintain a trust relationship with the Business Stakeholders.

• Create and agree together with the Business Stakeholders a Product long-term vision and strategy.

• Create and maintain the Product Roadmap and coordinate its execution, by following a clear Governance alongside with the Business stakeholders.

• Create and maintain the Product backlog according to the priorities given by the Governance.

• Facilitate and drive alignment among key stakeholders to converge on a set of requirements that bring business added value.

• Lead the Product team throughout an iterative Product lifecycle; from Inception to Operations.

• Lead the Product Backlog delivery as agile as required by the Product, ensuring continuous engagement from the business throughout the delivery.

• Become the technology point of contact and subject matter expert for the products in scope, including L1 and L2 technical support tasks.

• Report product status to the Event Products Team Lead.

• Manage suppliers and third party stakeholders involved in the delivery of products. Lead and manage bids for product and service acquisition, in accordance with applicable processes in place.

• Build and maintain Product awareness on all levels among product teams and Business stakeholders.

• Create, study and propose innovative solutions for the Products in-scope.

• Facilitate the engagement and coordination of all Technology capabilities, as well as the non-technical areas involved, during the Product Lifecycle, such as IT Architecture, IT Security, Legal, Procurement, Branding, among others.

• Facilitate and drive the actions that lead to the definition of the Product budget, as well as ensuring its efficient management and utilization throughout the Product Lifecycle.

Requirements:

Education & further training, Specialized qualifications:

Must-have:

• University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar.

• Proven record of successful deliveries of various complexities within Global and Multi-cultural organizations.

• Experience in the Sports event industry desirable

• Solid technical background with understanding or hands-on experience in software development/implementation.

• In-depth knowledge of various delivery methodologies: such as Agile, in particular Scrum, and waterfall.

• Experience with working close to UX/UI designer and development teams.

• Experience managing and engaging with third party vendors

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice-to-have:

• Certification on one or more of different delivery methodologies; e.g. Scrum Master, PMI-PMP, PMI-ACP.

• Strong experience in Service Management and ITIL Framework.

• Experience managing or executing technical support services for technology products.

Work experience:

• At least 10 years of proven work experience in technology roles; ideally, within Delivery areas or related.

• Proven work experience as a Product Manager for at least 5 years on software-based solutions.

Languages:

• Fluently spoken English. Additional languages are nice-to-have.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Conflict resolution skills are a must

• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills

Other requirements:

• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time for longer periods (30 days or more)
