At our offices in Casablanca, we are looking for a 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) Integration Business Analyst to join our team.

Position Summary

The Walden Connect Business Analyst (BA) is an individual contributor role requiring significant knowledge of multiple technology platforms. The successful candidate will work alone or as a member of a collaborative work group. In either case, the BA will elicit business requirements and fulfil those requirements by deploying IT solutions.

Within this context, The BA provides functional expertise, project coordination and facilitation for application development efforts.

Job Description

The BA is responsible for integration of new client interfaces and for assisting with change requests for existing clients. They will also work on internal (non-client) integration architecture design.

Typically, we integrate with our clients using various industry standards: EDIFACT, X12, iDoc etc. We also use industry standard connection protocols such as SFTP, AS2 and APIs. We use one of the leading Middleware technology stacks which we integrate into our various WMS and TMS systems within the Walden Group.

The BA will take ownership of design, planning, oversight and team coordination as needed for the implementation of integration solutions. They will design data flows for messages that are to be exchanged from external systems into the organization and through internal systems.

They will work with clients, business and technical teams and will lead sessions to quantify and qualify project scope, working closely with the IT Project Managers.

In addition, the BA will use their knowledge to assist in incident investigation and resolution, when such issues have been escalated.

The role will report to the IT Manager, Integration Platforms.

This role will work on projects across all Walden Business Units, in particular client on-boarding, systems design, upgrades and migrations.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of integration requirements
Lead client integration scope workshops
Architect solutions for internal and external integrations
Design message flows to facilitate interfacing between systems
Co-ordinate other teams as needed to complete implementation
Document specifications for interfacing of client and internal messages
Document high level systems integration design
Support during test phases
Liaise with stakeholders
Assist sales and management teams with integration requests
Assist with incident investigation and resolution on escalated issues

Desirable experience

Understanding of Logistic Processes in the context of warehousing and distribution (Goods In/Out, Order to Cash, Warehouse movements, Transport, etc.)
Part of the role may be advising clients about Logistic processes optimization – not just from an IT perspective but also considering operational impact and implications
Desirable experience in the pharma sector and/or knowledge about GxP practices in the pharma context, specific pharma logistic processes

Personal Characteristics:

Must have a flexible approach to work and be capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and excellent organizational and communication skills.
