Job Specifications

We are seeking an experienced Data Cabling Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with data cabling installations, testing, and terminations across Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a and Cat7 standards.

Key Responsibilities

Install, route-find, and run structured cabling including Cat5e–Cat7.

Terminate cables at user outlets, patch panels, and communication cabinets.

Installation of plastic & galvanised conduit, PVC trunking, tray work & basket tray

Work from marked-up drawings, plans, and site instructions to deliver accurate installations.

Perform cable testing and certification using Fluke network testers.

Ensure all cabling is installed to high industry standards, including proper containment and labelling.

Diagnose and fix faults in existing data cabling infrastructure.

Work safely and professionally in live office, commercial, or industrial environments.

Requirements

Proven experience in structured cabling installation (Cat5e–Cat7).

Proficient in cable termination, testing, and fault-finding.

Ability to interpret and work from drawings and documentation.

Competent with Fluke DSX or similar certification tools.

Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
