We've had a huge increase in demand over the past few weeks for Data Privacy / Data Protection Paralegals based in London.

Overview

We are seeking experienced Data Protection Paralegals to support our clients' day-to-day privacy operations and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GDPR and related data protection regulations and be confident working with AI tools such as Harvey AI

Key Responsibilities

Manage and respond to data protection requests, including DSARs, SARs, and related privacy inquiries
Conduct and document Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs), and Transfer Risk Assessments (TRAs) using established templates
Maintain and update Records of Processing Activities (ROPA) and support compliance with DPA, PECR, and other relevant privacy regulation
Support the Data Protection Officer (DPO) in ongoing compliance monitoring and advisory activities
Ensure adherence to GDPR / EU GDPR requirements across business operations

Key Skills & Experience

Proven experience in data protection and privacy law, including GDPR and EU GDPR compliance
Skilled in completing DPIAs, LIAs, TRAs, and other privacy documentation
Knowledge of DPA, PECR, and related regulatory frameworks
Familiarity with Harvey AI or similar legal AI tools
Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and organisational skills
