An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, organised and enthusiastic Tenant Data Officer to join our ambitious Housing Services team. This post will continue our Tenancy Update Programme, a rolling 12-month project to ensure we have up to date information on all our Tenants and their household members. New legislation requires us to know our tenants and know their individual needs based on their personal circumstances, including recording details of protected characteristics. We are looking for a flexible and customer focussed health and safety professional, who can manage time and priorities effectively.

Capable of working collaboratively and share ideas to ensure service excellence is achieved.

Role responsibilities and main duties

In the majority of cases, to conduct tenancy update telephone calls to all households to complete tenancy updates.

To carry out home visits, as required, to complete tenancy update audits Ensure that all missing information is collected and the QL system is updated accurately so that the service is able to extract the necessary information.

To proactively deal with requests for service and support at the first point of contact, or by appropriate referrals to partner teams

To be compliant with the Council’s General Data Protection Regulations policy

To administrate transactional surveys when required

Report any incidents of potential neglect or domestic abuse to the Council’s safeguarding lead, and update Council systems such as My Concern as necessary.

To liaise with the relevant Tenancy Management Officer as required where there may be ongoing, long-term work necessary

To attend regular performance review meetings with your line manager
