Job Specifications

Organizations everywhere struggle under the crushing costs and complexities of “solutions” that promise to simplify their lives. To create a better experience for their customers and employees. To help them grow. Software is a choice that can make or break a business. Create better or worse experiences. Propel or throttle growth. Business software has become a blocker instead of ways to get work done.

There’s another option. Freshworks. With a fresh vision for how the world works.

At Freshworks, we build uncomplicated service software that delivers exceptional customer and employee experiences. Our enterprise-grade solutions are powerful, yet easy to use, and quick to deliver results. Our people-first approach to AI eliminates friction, making employees more effective and organizations more productive. Over 72,000 companies, including Bridgestone, New Balance, Nucor, S&P Global, and Sony Music, trust Freshworks’ customer experience (CX) and employee experience (EX) software to fuel customer loyalty and service efficiency. And, over 4,500 Freshworks employees make this possible, all around the world.

Job Description

The Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy & BizOps is a critical member of Freshworks' global Strategy team, driving high-priority initiatives that shape the company's future. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Corporate Strategy, you'll join an established and growing team that serves as a central talent hub, partnering closely with leaders who bring top-tier consulting experience. This role combines the strategic rigor of consulting with limited travel, offering the opportunity to operate inside a fast-moving SaaS company with high visibility to senior executives.

You'll blend strategic problem-solving with hands-on execution, building business cases, conducting market and competitive analyses, and supporting cross-functional programs across Product, Sales, Finance, Operations, and BizOps. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys structured thinking, analytical depth, and translating insights into real business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Support strategic projects that address key company priorities, providing analysis, insights, and clear recommendations.
Work closely with Strategy leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to frame problems, gather data, and develop fact-based solutions.
Conduct market, competitive, and financial analysis—including business cases, scenario models, and investment evaluations.
Assist in the creation of board-level, investor-facing, and internal strategy materials.
Translate high-level strategic goals into actionable plans, ensuring workstreams are scoped, milestones defined, and progress tracked.
Collaborate with partners across geographies and functions to ensure alignment and project momentum.
Contribute to operational deep-dives, opportunity sizing, and strategic planning cycles.
Bring structure, analytical rigor, and strong communication to complex business problems.

Please note this is a hybrid role with onsite expectations of 3x/week (Tuesday - Thursday) from our San Mateo, CA headquarters.

Qualifications

5-7+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, or related analytical roles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, develop insights, and influence decisions
Financial modeling and business case development capabilities
Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and work across multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication, slide-building, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and geographies; no direct people management required
Experience working in or supporting SaaS or technology businesses preferred
Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
