Position Title: Full Stack Developer (UI/UX)

Pay Rate: $35/hr on w2
Position Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to support and enhance a mission-critical Customer Onboarding Portal (COP) for a major federal program. This role combines front-end development, back-end engineering, UI/UX expertise, DevSecOps awareness, and testing/QA proficiency.
The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative environment, has strong attention to detail, and is passionate about building secure, scalable, and user-friendly digital experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features, maintain existing applications, and optimize system performance.

Required Skills/Education:
Front-End Development
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience with modern frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue
Familiarity with libraries such as Redux or jQuery
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and accessible design
Back-End Engineering
Expertise in at least one server-side language: Node.js, Python, or Java
Experience with RESTful API design, development, and integration
Hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Knowledge of NoSQL technologies (MongoDB, Firebase)
Familiarity with web servers (e.g., Nginx, Apache)
Architecture, Cloud & DevOps
Knowledge of architecture patterns such as MVC, SOLID principles, and microservices
Experience with cloud platforms (public or hybrid)
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and Git-based version control
Basic networking concepts: HTTP, TCP/IP
DevSecOps & Security
Experience identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities (e.g., XSS, SQL Injection)
Awareness of secure coding practices and automated security checks
Testing & Quality Assurance
Experience with unit, integration, end-to-end, and performance testing
Hands-on knowledge of QA tools: Selenium, Cypress, OWASP ZAP
Experience performing database validation and CRUD testing

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
