Job Description - Roles and Responsibilities

Company, known for its blue PMD bags, has been revolutionizing Belgian raw materials management since 1994 through the following core activities: organizing the collection and recycling of packaging waste, collaborating with companies for better packaging design, and innovating in the recycling chain as a coordinator between government, citizens, and industry.
Client is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst who translates business needs into technical solutions by converting complex requirements into detailed functional specifications. As a detail-oriented professional, you will analyze business processes, define functional requirements, and work closely with development teams for successful system implementations, balancing business objectives with technical feasibility and user experience.
Experience leading development teams from a Project Management role is a plus.

Job content:

Analyze and document functional requirements, specifications, use cases and process flows
Perform gap analyses between current and desired functionality and analyze existing systems to identify opportunities for improvement
Maintain documentation on integrations within the Fost Plus landscape and external systems, including support with data migration and system integration activities
Design and execute functional test scenarios, coordinate UAT, and validate that functional requirements are met
Facilitate workshops and design sessions, act as a proactive liaison between business, developers and technical teams
Train end users on new functionality and processes, support with production issues and analyze change requests
Lead the development team in planning and executing related development work, including functional expertise during project planning and estimation

Work is carried out within an Agile and primarily Dutch-speaking environment
