Position Overview: The Sales Specialist will be responsible for generating and managing the sales funnel for Asset Management services, targeting existing and new clients. This role involves introducing the value proposition, coordinating subject matter experts (SMEs), conducting proof-of-concept trials, and guiding prospects through the full sales cycle—from initial engagement to contract negotiation.
This position supports strategic growth initiatives and service adoption, aligning with operational goals and client success.
This position is open to applicants across Canada; however, preference will be given to those located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) or other major Canadian cities.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Funnel Activation
Initiate outreach to targeted existing clients.
Build awareness and interest in Asset Management services through strategic messaging.
Value Proposition Delivery
Present compelling service benefits such as cost optimization, risk reduction, and operational efficiency.
SME Coordination
Collaborate with internal SMEs to support technical discussions and solution validation.
Proof-of-Concept Execution
Design and manage trials that demonstrate service capabilities and business impact.
Proposal Development
Create tailored proposals based on client needs and trial outcomes.
Contract Negotiation
Lead negotiations to finalize service agreements aligned with client expectations and company standards.
Pipeline Management
Monitor funnel performance, identify conversion bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with sales, service delivery, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
Skills & Qualifications: Required
Experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally in IT services or Asset Management.
Strong understanding of sales funnel stages and CRM tools.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage cross-functional teams and coordinate SMEs.
Proven track record in proposal writing and contract negotiation.
Preferred
Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and platforms like ServiceNow (HAM/SAM).
Background in IT Asset Management or service desk operations.
Experience facilitating client workshops or assessments.
