A fast-growing neurotechnology company is building implantable systems that restore autonomy for patients. Backed by major recent funding, the team is now hiring a Research Engineer to build the software tools and infrastructure that enable rapid, iterative neuroscience and ML research.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain software tooling and infrastructure for fast research cycles.
Develop user-facing systems for real-time time-series data processing.
Support cloud environments and ML experimentation workflows.
Collaborate across engineering, neuroscience, and clinical teams.

You Will Need

Must Have:

1–5 years of software development experience.
Strong Python skills.
Experience with time-series data (e.g., sampling rates, real-time processing).
Eagerness to have a strong office presence

Nice to Have:

Cloud infrastructure experience.
Swift or front-end experience (not required).
Basic understanding of ML.
Backgrounds in robotics, autonomy, or fast-paced platform engineering.
